Terms and Conditions of Sale

  1. Prices shown are subject to change without notice (due to change in cost of transportation, Customs, and International Currency Exchange). Please check price and stock before placing an order.
  2. Our prices are FOB our facilities. Customer assumes full risk of loss or damage to the merchandise FOB our warehouse of origin.
  3. Returned checks are subject to $35 service charge.
  4. Materials are inspected prior to shipment from our warehouse to ensure condition and correct volumes. Any claim regarding damaged and/or missing tiles or slabs must be brought to our attention within 15 days of receipt of material in order for a claim with the shipping company to be filed properly. Photographic and/or written documentation of the damage may be required to assist us in filing a claim. All partner carriers sign off on the condition of the material upon pickup from our warehouses. 
  5. All sales are final. Returns of regularly priced items are accepted upon approval of Rock Bottom Tile and Stone management, within 15 days from receipt of material. All returned items have to be undamaged in original containers and must be in resalable condition. A 35% restocking charge may be applied to all returns.
  6. Samples and in-stock photos are provided from our inventory and are only a representation of our current stock. We do not guarantee absolute resemblance between samples and or photos to the actual material delivered and we do not accept returns based on difference in color variation. Tolerance of 1-2mm difference or variation in thickness and measurements may be possible.
  7. Travertine, Marble, Slate and Granite are products of nature and are susceptible to pits, cracks, chips, and color variation. No two pieces of natural stone are alike. These characteristics are not material flaws but the natural signature of authenticity. You must inspect the material prior to installation to check the sizing, thickness, color and veining to prepare any blending required to meet the owner's approval. Absolutely no claim will be accepted for any reason after the material has been installed.
  8. 10% - 15% overage is recommended for all projects. This is to provide flexibility, additional material for cut-to-fit stages of installation, and full useable pieces in the event that a small amount of damage has occurred. We encourage all customers to utilize damaged pieces for cuts to the best of their ability.
  9. Place of jurisdiction for all actions and proceedings with regards to any transaction(s) with us is Washington County, Oregon.
